‘Arts Integration: Teaching Using Traditional Music and Dance’ is a 1-credit course through Castleton University available for those attending the ‘Young Folks Doing Old Stuff Conference’ in Burlington.
Participants will attend the Young Folks Doing Old Stuff conference on May 5, 2017 at the Bishop Booth Conference Center in Burlington Vermont, and associated activities during Young Tradition Weekend the evening of May 5 and day and evening on May 6, and post-conference requirements. Course participants who sign up for one graduate credit must attend the full day and evening of conference events and complete additional hours of coursework to total 15 hours of active learning. Participation at the conference on May 5 requires the course enrollees attend one workshop session in each session slot, the keynote address, and a mid-day presentation. All coursework must be completed by June 30, 2017. Mark Sustic, M.Ed. is the instructor/facilitator for this graduate level course.

If you wish to take the course for Castleton credit, please notify Young Tradition Vermont at firstname.lastname@example.org when you complete Castleton’s online registration form. Please complete and submit the online registration through Castleton. Do NOT make payment to Castleton University for the course. Course tuition of $135 needs to be made payable to Vermont Folklife Center, 88 Main St, Middlebury, VT 05753. This payment can be made the day of the conference.
