28 April 2018 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm TBA location in Montpelier
We’ll be welcoming Sarah Isberg to Montpelier on Friday 4/28 at 4 pm to give a workshop in Swedish tunes for all instruments.
If you haven’t yet made a reservation to attend this workshop, please do so! There are just a few spaces left. This will be my last mailing.
Sarah Isberg, a Swedish fiddler from NH, will be teaching the workshop. She is a founder of the Mountain Top Music Center in Conway, NH. Sarah spends much of the year in Sweden playing and studying Swedish traditional repertoire. She has a ton of tunes she’d like to share with us, and is willing to go over the two hours if we’re up for it – it’s just a question of our stamina!
The workshop will run from 4-6 pm at least, followed by a pot-luck supper and, if we have the energy – a jam. There is a $35 suggested donation, as this event is a fund-raiser for the Summit School of Traditional Music and Culture in Montpelier.
To make a reservation and get directions to the venue, please email me, Marge Garfield beleaf4u at myfairpoint dot net.
