Baird 5 music sessions

Young Tradition Vermont continues to sponsor the Baird 5 music sessions at Vermont Children’s Hospital in Burlington. Thanks to Natalie MacMaster, Donnell Leahy and their children Clare, Michael, Julia, Mary Frances and Alec for visiting Baird 5 on December 1st, while they were in town for the sold out holiday concert at the Flynn Center the same night.  Monday December 16th, Fran Cohen and Mark Sustic host the regular session from 6:30 to 7:30, with guitars, banjos, ukes and more from the Instrument Petting Zoo.

Appreciation to Andrea Treudson and her colleages with the Child Life Department and all the staff on the floor for welcoming and accommodating our monthly musical contributions, never knowing who or how many children will be well enough, thus interested enough to participate.

Young Tradition Vermont has sponsored the Baird 5 sessions for over 10 years as part of its mission to inspire children with traditional music and dance and to use our resources to support families with children in life-altering situations.
