Fiddleheads is a group of young musicians that meets 1 or 2 Saturdays a month at the Burlington Violin Shop at 23 Church Street in Burlington. Those who participate come with an interest in learning about and having fun playing traditional music with others. Most who come are fiddlers, but its not just for fiddlers…. the emphasis is on fiddle tunes, which can be played on a wide variety of instruments, including harp, viola, cello, banjo, mandolin, whistle, guitar and keyboard. Any melody-oriented instrument is welcome.
