This spring the Young Tradition Touring Group of 18 young musicians will travel to Northumberland in England and Scotland for a performance tour and cultural exchange. The group is returning a visit from the Northumberland Ranters, a youth group from England YTV hosted in April 2013.
On Saturday, March 8, 2014 the Alan Kelly Gang will be featured at the McCarthy Arts Center at St. Michael’s College at 7 pm. Presented by Young Tradition Vermont and St. Michael’s College with the Burlington Irish Heritage Festival. $20 is the suggested donation. Pete Sutherland has put out a new CD entitled “Farmland,” a collection of story songs and ballads written in collaboration with students across northern Vermont.
