Thank you all who attended our April All-Comers Music Jam – what a kind and fun group of folks! We aren’t going out but we can Zoom around! 🙂
Next one: Sunday, May 17th, 2020: 4-6PM (Slow Jam 4-5, dance tempos 5-6) BYOBeverages and snacks! Free! All ages, levels and instruments welcome! The Zoom link will be sent out that weekend, cheers!
Please read this time-sensitive Musician Aid announcement:
We are now in the last two weeks of our Violin-Building Fundraiser For Musician Aid – and thanks to you, we have given aid to over 100 musicians in need!
Yet we have 150 more URGENT musician aid applicants to cover. So we are raising our goal one last time to the amount we need to cover them all: $80,000
YOU all have been the heart and soul of this galvanizing, grassroots fundraiser! Now is the time for one last big push to your networks:
1. Please email your family, friends and companies and ask them to consider helping these musicians so they can buy food and pay rent! Please write a personalized message and share this link: https://sevenstarsarts.rallyup.com/musicianaid
2. Let your local and national news sources know about our urgent fundraiser! News articles and radio get us the most support! The press kit blurb, volunteer team members available for interviews, and example news stories are all here: https://www.sevenstarsarts.org/musicianaid.html
3. If you use Facebook, please invite your friends to like our Facebook Page where Jake has been making the violin live (invite tool on the side of the page): https://www.facebook.com/violinbuildingmusicianaid/
Together, we can help get our musicians through this difficult time!!
