Voices for Vermont’s Children’s Annual Summer Celebration  \& Advocacy Awards

The Summer Celebration is a chance for us to reflect on the legislative session, celebrate advocacy award winners & enjoy performances from some of Vermont’s incredibly talented youth artists. This year we’ll be entertained by Ava White, harpist from Young Tradition Vermont, the Bhutanese Nepali Cultural Heritage Dance Group, and more!

We will be presenting two awards to outstanding advocates who fight for every child and youth in Vermont to thrive and experience a sense of belonging.

The David Goldberg Advocacy Award will be presented to: Amanda Garces, founder of the Vermont Coalition for Ethnic and Social Equity in Schools.

The 2019 Youth Leadership Award will be presented to Nate Farnham, an advocate for youth voice in the child protective system.

Tickets are $50/member, $55/nonmember. We’ll be serving plentiful small bites and there will be a cash bar. Proceeds support Voices’ Roots & Wings fund for advocacy on behalf of Vermont’s children and youth.
