Fiddlers from Scottish, Irish, and Québécois traditions will convene in Concord for the fourth annual Fall Fiddle Festival, a full day of workshops and jam sessions for fiddlers and violinists, followed by an exhilarating evening concert of fiddle music open to the general public!

Fiddle players of various levels and styles are invited to participate in a day chock full of workshops and jams, with three fiddle faculty members: Scottish fiddler and experimentalist Jenna Moynihan, who has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS Sunday Morning, and as a soloist at Symphony Hall; French-Canadian fiddler Éric Favreau, who is highly regarded for his profound understanding and masterful playing of the traditional music of Québec; and Concord’s own Liz Faiella, an Irish fiddler and chair of Folk, Jazz, and Popular Music at the Concord Community Music School. Workshops will be offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players during each workshop session. Workshops are geared towards ages 12 and up, and beginner workshops assume participants have a basic knowledge of their instrument. Register now, or call 603-228-1196.

Following the workshops, the evening concert will feature Fiddle Fest faculty and their musical collaborators, Jeremiah McLane, accordion & piano, and Màiri Chaimbeul, harp. Workshop registration includes a ticket to the evening concert! For those not participating in the daytime workshops, you can get tickets here, or call 603-228-1196.
