Fiddleheads, harps and Dominique Dodge at the 13th Annual Carolan Festival

Fiddleheads and her harp students have worked with Dominique Dodge over a 2-part rehearsal/residency at the Burlington Violin Shop, preparing Carolan tunes to perform at the Festival on 6/15/19.

A gathering for people who play, listen, sing, or dance to the music of Turlough Carolan (1670-1738), blind Irish harper and composer – 214 of his tunes have survived! Beautiful Irish music — many compositions with a Baroque influence.

Open sessions, Workshops, Participatory Dance & Performances (English Country; Irish Step, Ceili, & Sean Nós; Morris, waltzing). Gerlisa Garrett (TCRG), Competitor at The Worlds, & Students of The Garrett School of Irish Dance, will perform and lead Ceili dances! All instruments welcome.
Concert featuring Young Tradition Vermont Fiddleheads & Harp students with Dominique Dodge; Benedict Koehler & Hilari Farrington; the Zeichners.
