Join us for a family-friendly evening of Haitian music and cuisine in a magical outdoor setting. Enjoy the festive music of internationally recognized roots revival band Lakou Mizik while feasting on Kreyól-inspired dishes created especially for this event by Chef Bill Snell of New Haven’s acclaimed Tourterelle Restaurant.
Transport yourself from the Green Mountains of Vermont to the tropical warmth of Haiti with this intimate and unique experience.
MENU (Subject to change):
“Tilapia Lambi” – grilled tilapia with a lime and spicy cabbage slaw
“Poulet aux noir” – braised chicken and cashew nuts
“Beregen melange” – eggplant and mixed vegetable stew
All dishes served with black mushroom rice and fritay
“Sitwonad” – Haitian style limeade
Each meal $15. Cash or credit.
You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
There are a limited number of tickets available for this event.
Event is rain or shine. Please bring a blanket or low chair for sitting on the grass.
