1 December 2019 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Deborah Rawson Memorial Library
On December 1st, one of my dearest friends and a spectacular song collector, Kathy Westra will be joined by her partner George Stephens. Kathy’s work as an environmental and conservation writer, and George’s long career as a scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have also inspired the duo to sing songs that express an appreciation for the wild places that provide refuge from our busy urban lives, and the importance of conserving our lands and waters.
More information as we get closer to the other dates yet let me leave you with the news that I am excited beyond measure about the performers who have agreed to honor us by taking part in our series this year.
Concerts are at 2 PM on Sunday afternoons at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library. All concerts are free although I do encourage the performers to bring CDs to sell to help support them and for you to enjoy their music long after the concert is over.
