As part of the Barre Heritage Festival, the Old Labor Hall is hosting the annual evening of food and music celebrating Barre’s Quebecois heritage, La Soirée Sucrée, a perfect combination of sweet eats and sweet sounds.
This year in addition to the famous dessert contest, we have added a savory, the famous French Canadian tourtière. Time to test your culinary skills.
The evening is divided into three exciting components—all for one low price.
►French Tourtière and Dessert Competitions
►French Dessert Tasting
►French-Canadian music by Governor’s Heritage award winner Michèle Choinière.
Adults – $15 at the door, $12 in advance. Children under 12 – $6 (Attendance limited to 100.)
