Lissa Schneckenburger and Genna Rose Nethercott Streaming Live

In honor of Lissa Schneckenburger’s world wide release of Thunder in My Arms on May 17th, please join her and poet Genna Rose Nethercott for a live streaming collaborative performance at www.concertwindow.com. Both Brattleboro VT based women will perform selections from their published works (songs from Thunder in My Arms by Lissa, and poems from The Lumberjack’s Dove by Genna) as well as several collaborations. The pair met originally in 2011 when Genna came to Lissa for fiddle lessons, but their first collaboration as composer and lyricist was a song called Miner’s Ballad for Genna’s Modern Ballads project. More recently they wrote two songs together for Lissa’s new album (a song cycle for foster and adoptive families, about developmental trauma, resiliency, and hope).

Tune in for this special one of a kind performance, streaming live! This will be a lunch time concert for the eastern US, breakfast music for western states, and dinner for our friends over in Europe so grab a beverage and your meal of choice, invite your friends and co workers, and head to www.concertwindow.com on May 17th!
