STORIES & SONGS AT THE MORRISVILLE CENTENNIAL LIBRARY

I’ll be performing a solo “Stories & Songs” program on Saturday, October 5th at the
Morrisville Centennial Library, a free show commencing at 7pm. I am looking forward to
bringing my songs to Morrisville, the home of WLVB radio. Even though my ancestral roots are in East Hardwick, less than 20 miles from Morrisville, and I have been fortunate to have played all over the world, I was shocked to realize that in my 56 years as a professional musician, I have never played a show in Morrisvile. I’ll be correcting that error next week at the Morrisville Centennial Library.

I have played “Stories & Songs” in seven Vermont Community Libraries so far this year, the most recent at the grand opening of the gorgeous Pierson Library in Shelburne two weeks ago. I sincerely enjoy the intimate audience settings that Libraries provide. Not only do I perform many of the songs I have written for our Rambler recordings but I also share the back stories behind the songs, frequently taken from historic Vermont people and places. I’ll be introducing new songs and many familiar tunes that our good friends at WLVB have been playing on-air for years. Roland Lajoie and I will be chatting about my Morrisville visit on his “Vermont Country Morning Show” on WLVB this coming week. The Morrisville Centennial Library is located, at 7 Richmond Street in downtown Morrisville – (802)888-3853.
