Sarah King and Friends
While disappointed that Scott Alarik had to cancel his performance, having Sarah King step up to perform instead is a tremendous alternative. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing Sarah on many occasions as her talent has evolved and look forward to introducing her to our library audience!!
Sarah has been surrounded by folk music all her life, became a member of Young Traditions Vermont “Fiddleheads”, part of their touring group and ultimately a member of the Board helping to encourage other young people to learn traditions of music from around the world. Sarah is an immensely talented and versatile performer from fiddle to singing to composing, classical ballet, swing dance and contra dancing, although I doubt the dancing will be part of the concert tomorrow 🙂
Sarah will be accompanied by musical friends so please still join us Sunday, November 3rd at 2 PM at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library, River Road, Jericho. Most of the flooding on local roads has abated so hopefully everyone is safe and able to come and to enjoy this afternoon of music!
All concerts are at 2 PM on Sunday afternoons at the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library. All concerts are free although I do encourage the performers to bring CDs to sell to help support them and for you to enjoy their music long after the concert is over.
