Well, this is your opportunity! Wednesday October 7, 14 and 28, Sarah will be teaching a beginning east coast swing class from 7-8 at Champlain Club. We’ll be getting the feel of the music, practicing the basic 6 count step, and learning about how to connect with our partner and have fun dancing! Look forward to seeing you there!

Beginner Texas 2-Step Part 2
Join Jean Elizabeth and Rich for an additional 3-week series on the basics of Texas 2-Step. We will introduce new moves and patterns each week and continue to work on lead-follow skills.

Prerequisite: Confidence with the basic footwork and closed partner position.

Texas 2-step is traditionally danced to country/western music, but the lesson and practice music styles will vary so that students will be able to adapt this dance to all kinds of music.

No partner necessary. Class starts at 7pm, ends at 8pm, and there will be a 30-minute practice session following the class until 8:30pm.

Appropriate for all levels of dancer. Although this is a series, drop-ins are welcome as long as you know the basic footwork and partner connections.
